Path of Dreams invites viewers to embark on a painterly journey across the landscapes of the UK, from the serene waters of Port Navas to the rugged charm of Staithes, the quiet shores of Norfolk, and the vibrant harbours of Salcombe and Fowey.

Peter Wileman's masterful use of light and color brings these iconic locations to life, while also offering glimpses into a world where landscape and abstraction blur together. His work is not just a reflection of physical places but also a celebration of the emotional energy they evoke.

Wileman's fascination with capturing light and atmosphere is at the core of his artistic practice. Whether he is painting the golden glow of a sunset or the shimmering reflection of water, his compositions go beyond mere representation. In many of his more abstracted works, location becomes secondary to the exploration of light, color, and form. Here, the energy of a scene is distilled into bold, sweeping strokes and dynamic contrasts, creating pieces that resonate with a sense of movement and life.

With over four decades of experience in fine art and design, Peter Wileman has honed his craft to express both the beauty of the natural world and the boundless potential of artistic imagination.

As a former President and current Fellow of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, as well as a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists, Wileman's works are revered for their ability to evoke both place and emotion in equal measure.
