Feature: Olivia Wileman

Thompson's Gallery is thrilled to debut the works of abstract painter Olivia Wileman. This exhibition is celebration of an emerging artist whose talent is raw and focused. This debut is a personal celebration to Thompson's Gallery as Olivia is the daughter of renowned British artist, Peter Wileman PPROI RSMA FRSA.

 

Olivia's abstract paintings are alluring and complex and utilise colour through considered layering and mark making. With a background in graphic design, Olivia finds this informs her approach to painting, in terms of thinking in colour and shape foremost, and creating a composition.
