About
Thompson's Gallery London proudly presents Free Again, an exhibition of Jo Taylor's newest body of work. Undaunted by the tumult which took hold worldwide, Jo Taylor committed her springtime to achieve a stunning new range of charcoal, ink and mixed media works. As the title suggests, Taylor's latest works reflect optimism, strength, and the enduring promise of nature's beauty - apt for where mankind finds itself today.
For this exhibition, Jo Taylor has explored the subject of scale turning 'normal' on its head, producing smaller mixed media pieces and focusing on large, imposing and powerful charcoals. Framed in her statement black frame with signature large mount, they bring drama to the artwork's scale, compounded by colour and kinetic mark-making.
